What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I’ve been training every day of the week during this offseason. I’ve worked mostly with the coaches and players at National Playmakers Academy (NPA). Q&A with McMinn County offensive lineman Camden Goforth

How did the high school football season go overall?
“It was fair this year, we had a couple losses at first, but then had some really good wins. The season ended with losses in the region championship and first round of playoffs and that was two really hard losses.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Right now we’re getting ready for spring practice and I’m continuing to make gains in weightlifting. I’m also going for mobility training and position training for Offensive Line.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Bradley and Cleveland are both 6A teams that we play every year and they are usually stacked with talented players. I feel like Cleveland will be a hard fought game this season.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“That’s a hard one considering how much talent there is coming into this season. But personally I would say J’Alan Terry at Bradley. I played on a AAU team with him in middle school and I know how talented he is.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Definitely want to play in college, football has always been my dream and I’ve been working for it since I was in youth and AAU football. I’m still trying to figure out where the best fit will be but it’s always been a dream to play at Tennessee.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’m just really getting started in the recruiting process, but we have seen interest from several different universities. I’ve had personal camp and spring practice invites from Vanderbilt, South Carolina, Texas, Wisconsin, Eastern Kentucky. Also had interest from Georgia Tech, Charlotte, UT Chattanooga, Miami Ohio and others as well.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I would have to say EKU would be because they were the first D1 school to give me an offer to play for them.”

I just recently received an invitation from Coach Teasley at South Carolina to attend spring practice and we are scheduling that visit. I will be back at EKU in June and we’re trying to get GT, UTC and Wisconsin; where I just received a formal camp invite from Coach Blazek, scheduled also if work schedules allow. Would also like to make a visit to Texas when possible.”

“I had the opportunity to go to a couple of Tennessee games over the last few years and that’s an awesome memory for me.”

Q&A with Ravenwood defensive end Elliot Hampton

How did the high school football season go overall?
“In 2023 we were blessed to play some of the best teams in the state during the regular season. We made a solid run into the playoffs but were stopped short of our goal to be state champs.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My off-season plan is to build strength, speed and size. It’s working. Since the season I’m up 25lbs, set personal bests in the 40, shuttle, and L-drill. I’m also hitting new max bench and squat numbers almost every week. Spring workouts, varsity track and extra work at home is paying off.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“Everyone is excited about the potential of our team in ‘24. We didn’t have many seniors this year and we played undersized at a number of positions. We have a lot of players coming back as experienced seniors and juniors. Our goal is to win state.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“We face both Alcoa and Oakland in away games this year. We are coming off losses to both last year and have something to prove.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?

“I plan to play football in college at a university with a top-ranked computer science program.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?

Q&A with Clarksville running back James Dalrymple

How did the high school football season go overall?
“The season went as we expected. All year we talked about going undefeated in the regular season and we did just that. We fell short in the first round to a good Collierville team by 1 point which made me at least feel like we didn’t accomplish enough as a team. Personally the season went great with racking up over 1k rush yards and even throwing for 3 touchdowns and a running back. I hope to not only repeat that success next year, but to also elevate it and become even better.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“In the winter months I get as big and strong as possible and when the weather starts getting warmer I tend to cut my weight back down and begin my speed and strength training. I like to do a little bit of bodybuilding on the side.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I feel very confident in our team to repeat the same success we had last year. We have a bunch of young linemen coming up and we have faith and trust in them that are going to grow into good solid lineman. This year our line was incredible and I will always remember and thank them for what they helped me accomplish because without them we don’t score points. We return all skill guys on offense and most of our defense.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Rossview because they have really good linebackers. Guys like Kole Phillips, Johnny Cabeleiro, Phillip Shipstead, and even their rover/safety Hank Recer. Dudes like that make it hard to win. They made it a close game this year until we pulled away in the 3rd quarter. Those guys are truly great athletes with great instincts and they will definitely give us a run for our money next year.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Toughest player we are going to play against is definitely Kole Phillips. He’s a great player and his coach trusts him to just go in there and wreak havoc on offenses.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I want to play college football.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Austin Peay, I’ve had some Westpoint recruiters follow me on Twitter, UNA coach has texted me, Lyons University, Arkansas state has shown some interest.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I wouldn’t say any certain school is recruiting me harder than another. I have had a couple coaches text me and keep me in the loop about recruiting me and such. I plan to elevate my game and make college coaches have not only a want for me but also a need.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“No trips have been made yet and I plan to make some this year.”

Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“I don’t have any plans on college visits anytime soon but I plan to go to some college camps very soon.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college football team is Alabama and I’m not a bandwagon. My whole family is from Alabama and I have been a die-hard Bama fan since birth. Other colleges I like to watch are Missouri, Oregon, and many others. I truly just enjoy college football all the time. Even in the offseason I go back and watch full past college football games. I like to watch the ON3 podcast with J.D Pickell and Always College football with Greg McElroy.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“Yes, I visited Miami Ohio last fall for a game day visit. I’ve also attended camp and a game visit at UTC. Just recently had the opportunity to visit Vanderbilt during their prospect day in February.”

Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“Yes, setting up the camp and visit schedule now. I will be back on campus at Vanderbilt June 2nd for prospect camp.

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“I had the opportunity to go to a couple of Tennessee games over the last few years and that’s an awesome memory for me.”

......................................................................................................

Q&A with Mount Juliet free safety Isaiah Roseberry
How did the high school football season go overall?
“Great, I was named 1st Team All Region.”

“7v7, personal training, team workouts, working on camp schedule.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?

......................................................................................................

“I’m not sure who I consider the best individual player we’ll face. Williamson county is loaded with great players and both Alcoa and Oakland will have talent we haven’t seen before.”

......................................................................................................

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think with the work we will put in over the summer, we will be a pretty solid team this year. We lost some great talent but we have guys coming in that are hungry and ready to work.”

I played on a AAU team with him in middle school and I know how talented he is.”

......................................................................................................
