“The high school football season went well overall. I got to make the most of my opportunities in each play that I touched the ball.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans now are to workout hard, gain weight, get faster, play 7on7 to sharpen up my skills, and work position specific drills.”

“I feel that my team next season will do well. I think our team will come together to win some ball games.”

“Went well, went 8-5. We made the quarterfinals, not what we wanted the outcome to be.”

“I’m currently focusing on working out twice a day and running for the upcoming track season.”

“I feel pretty confident that we can make another run to a state title, we get a lot of experience back.”

“This season was one to remember. 6A State Champs. Best is yet to come.”

“I plan on continuing to work out and lift weights but I also have to prepare for the upcoming baseball season.”

“I am extremely excited and confident about next year’s team. Good amount of state champ returnees and the experience and chemistry we have is like no other.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“Season started off great going 3-0, but for sure didn’t finish off how we wanted.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I plan on working out, adding as much speed and muscle as I can.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think my class is one of the best to come through HVA, so even though we will have a new coach I think we will do pretty good next season.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I think we play in the hardest region in Tennessee. 6a region 2 has some of the best competition out there so every game for us is going to be a battle.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Every player in 6a region 2 is also great, lots of p5 guys we will play, so hard to single out one.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I’d like to play football in college, hopefully God has that in the cards for me.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Mercer has been talking to me some, going to try and get down for a game this year.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I guess I could say Mercer recruited me the hardest.”

“No.”

“Nothing yet, but I would love to hopefully get down to Mercer.”

“I’ve always loved Auburn in everything.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“I think our season as a team went good but could’ve gone better but a great season overall, individually I did what I had to do.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Out work everyone has a big season ahead of me for my senior season.”

“I think we will do pretty great looking forward to it.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“No team if our team comes together and plays how we practice.”

“It was good overall, I got injured at the end of the first-round game.”

“I’m going to continue to stay in the gym this offseason and continue to work.”

“I feel we are going to be better than this year, we all love to work in the offseason and we are losing only two seniors but we have their spots filled already.”

“The season was okay, I feel like we battled a lot of adversity with our Quarterback getting injured so we didn't get to show our full potential but the season was pretty okay.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans with sports are to get to the next level to play college ball so this offseason I plan on working on my craft and just getting better as an overall player.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think my team will be better prepared this year. We are going into our second year with a new head coach and I feel good about how he is running our football organization. I think it'll be a great season.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I think the toughest team on our schedule is definitely Shelbyville, they have a great team over there, great offense and great defense so this year we have to be prepared for that team for sure. All the Wilson County games are full of great talent so I'm excited for next season.”

“I'm not sure.”

“Yes I want to continue playing football In college, my plan is to be in the NFL one day.”

“It didn't start off how we wanted to as we started the season off 1-2, but we stayed together as a team to push [towards] our goal.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“As a team we lost a few games at the beginning of the season that we should have won. We bounced back towards the end of the season to earn a playoff berth. Personally, I had a pretty good season breaking the school single game rushing record twice, and breaking the school record for rushing yards in a season. Won the Region 6 3A Offensive POY.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I am in the middle of basketball season now. Just doing maintenance lifts at this time, but will be hitting the weights hard again mid-March.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“We have a lot of good players returning. We should be set up for a good season.”

“East Robertson or Fairview.”

“My high school (Houston High School) had an awesome season, winning the State Championship.”

“I am currently working out daily and getting ready to kick off 7 on 7 with my team PPA.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“We will be back-to-back state champs.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Well just like this season I feel South Panola and Tupelo got us ready for state this year so I would have to go with these two teams.”

“I don’t have a toughest player in mind that we will have to go against because I feel the Mustangs have a lot of dawgs and we are the best team right now.”

“Yes, I am working hard to play on the next level of football.”

“I have been in contact with several coaches. I received my first offer from University North Alabama and now I am patiently waiting on more schools to reach out to me.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“This season I thought went well for us, we had a young team and we went through some adversity throughout the season, but I think we did better than others thought.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“My plans for the offseason are to keep lifting and making sure I’m staying in shape throughout the offseason.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think our team will do extremely well, with how many young guys we had to the team this year, I think next year the confidence we will have is through the roof.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I think the toughest team we will face is Oakland, they are always a good team and fun to play against.”

“I think the toughest player we will face is Duane Morris, he is quick, fast and is able to read blocks well, and he’s hard to bring down.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“For our team, the season did not go the way we wanted but I felt that individually we had some guys really make plays.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Right now I plan to keep growing in the weight room and playing basketball right now to keep in shape and grow athletically.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I think that we can match up against anyone in our region as long as we keep working this offseason.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I think that Webb and Boyd will be our toughest games.”

“I think that Boyd has some good young talent that will be a test for us.”

“Yes I would love to play college football.”

“I haven’t had many colleges reach out, I have talked a little with the Clemson coach about snapping but nothing in depth.”

“I wouldn’t say any school at the moment is recruiting me very hard.”

“I did go up to Clemson for a game day visit and had a great time.”

“Not at the moment but I would love to go out to any school interested.”

“Clemson was always my dream school because my family went there but UTC has always been close to me because my grandfather was a long snapper there.”

How did the high school football season go overall?
“Awesome! We made school history, and made it to the State Championship game. We ended up as runners-up, but it was a great experience. We are not satisfied with second place and will be working to make it back to State next year. We had a solid, motivated, talented team. Proud of my brothers.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“Train, train, train! Strength and agility. I have a couple of trainers that I'll be working with.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“The goal is to win and make it to state, always. We are losing some key athletes, but we still have plenty of talent and depth. It's going to be fun.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Macon County is always tough. They also have a very talented and motivated team.”

“Tripp Pinion.”

“As a team we lost a few games at the beginning of the season that we should have won. We bounced back towards the end of the season to earn a playoff berth. Personally, I had a pretty good season breaking the school single game rushing record twice, and breaking the school record for rushing yards in a season. Won the Region 6 3A Offensive POY.”

“I am in the middle of basketball season now. Just doing maintenance lifts at this time, but will be hitting the weights hard again mid-March.”
