“I feel like my team can improve on starting out with dominance. There’s no doubt we can fight and battle with any team. But if we come out fierce and dominant, the workload would be less.”

How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Overall, the season has had some ups and downs. Our record (3-4) isn’t quite what we had hoped for, but we are improving every game. We have a really young team, only returning 2 offensive and 2 defensive starters. We have also had several injuries. A big one was losing our running back in the third game of the season. Despite all of this, our team is working really hard and making a lot of improvements. I feel like we are going to finish the season really strong.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“For the most part, I have been really happy with how I have played. I have overcome some adversity. In our fifth game of the season I had a pretty rough night. I threw three interceptions. I was a little down after that game, but I worked with my QB coach and offensive coordinator. I had a good game on the road week six, but Week 7 was even better. I was 12-18, threw 255 yards with 4 touchdowns and we got our first home win of the season.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“We have played like the young team that we are. We have moments where everything comes together and moments where our inexperience shows.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“Offensively we have to convert on third downs, score in the red zone, and reduce turnovers. Our defense is improving every game, but we still need to be able to get off the field on third downs.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“We have to stay in the season mentally. We know our record may not end up being what we wanted, but we have to stay focused on growth and improvement.”

“I would love to play football in college. I enjoy basketball too, but football is my passion.”

How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Overall, the season has had some ups and downs. Our record (3-4) isn’t quite what we had hoped for, but we are improving every game. We have a really young team, only returning 2 offensive and 2 defensive starters. We have also had several injuries. A big one was losing our running back in the third game of the season. Despite all of this, our team is working really hard and making a lot of improvements. I feel like we are going to finish the season really strong.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“For the most part, I have been really happy with how I have played. I have overcome some adversity. In our fifth game of the season I had a pretty rough night. I threw three interceptions. I was a little down after that game, but I worked with my QB coach and offensive coordinator. I had a good game on the road week six, but Week 7 was even better. I was 12-18, threw 255 yards with 4 touchdowns and we got our first home win of the season.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“We have played like the young team that we are. We have moments where everything comes together and moments where our inexperience shows.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“Offensively we have to convert on third downs, score in the red zone, and reduce turnovers. Our defense is improving every game, but we still need to be able to get off the field on third downs.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“We have to stay in the season mentally. We know our record may not end up being what we wanted, but we have to stay focused on growth and improvement.”

“Everything has been going well. I think we’ve started off strong but there’s still some things my team and I have to work on and just focus on getting better each week.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“No, I don’t think I’ve had an awful performance but I also haven’t had a good one. I just need to crank the intensity up and work on a couple of things.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“I think we’ve played well. We had a game that took us a little bit to get going, but we took it to another level after halftime.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“I think we obviously need a little work in some places, along with some other things but I think we’re in a good spot right now.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“The keys to our success are our effort, attention to detail, and giving it our all during games and practice.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, football for sure.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve talked to several but my only offers right now are from Sewanee, Bethel, and Mars Hill.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I would have to say Sewanee. My recruiter is a great guy and they really make me feel wanted there.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve gone to a couple game days, went to multiple camps, and I’ll be going on some visits soon.”

Do you have plans for game day trips?
“N/A.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yes, my favorite college is Notre Dame. They’re a high academic school that is constantly going against the best of the best in college football and establishing themselves in the top 25.”

How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Everything at football has been going good.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I’m kind of pleased with the way I played [the] first game, had a couple of mistakes but working on them every day.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“My team has played pretty good, we have a harder schedule than last year.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“I feel our team could improve on a lot of things.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“Working harder in practice, doing the little things right. I believe we could get on the path to where we want to be.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I would like to play sports in college. If I had to choose, it would be football right now.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I’ve been talking to a couple of coaches like Tennessee, Troy, UT Martin, MTSU, Eastern Kentucky, Navy, Gardner-Webb, etc.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I would say right now Troy is recruiting me the hardest.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve made one trip and that was to Troy.”

Do you have plans for game day trips?
“I’m attending [the] Tennessee MTSU game and also a Troy game.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“No, I never really had a favorite college team.”

How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“It’s going good.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“Yessir it’s going great, just grinding for more success.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“I feel like we have played well in the past games, we had a couple mistakes but we as a team are going to fix them.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“I feel like we can improve on more communication on the field.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“I feel that the keys on being successful going forward are being disciplined, being early to practice, being coachable, and more importantly being [successful] in the classroom.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yessir, football and track.”

“MTSU, Mississippi Valley, JSU, WKU, University Of Memphis, University Of Buffalo, Alabama A&M, Arkansas State University, Austin Peay University, Toledo Ohio, The University Of Tennessee, and Alabama State University.”

“Right now it’s going up and down.”

“Yessir.”

Do you have plans for game day trips?
“Yessir.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Yessir, LSU.”

How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“It has been a good season so far. We had a tough loss to Bartlett, but considering they’re a 6A team, it’s not too bad.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“I think that I am doing great overall but there are some small details I can improve on such as having better hands when defeating blocks and also having more accurate long snapping.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“My team is really good on the defensive side of the ball but we have a ton of players on offense who lack experience which has caused some busted plays. However, as the season continues those mishaps will clear up.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“My team has the size, speed, and physicality to be an amazing team but we just need to be more sound in our positions and more disciplined.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“Our team does not have that many players meaning that we really need to focus on injury prevention while minimizing cramps.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes, I’ve fallen in love with the game of football and the family I make along the way.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I received offers from Rhodes and Hendrix last season. I’ve gotten interest from a couple of D1, D2, & D3 schools.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“Rhodes and Hendrix recruited me the hardest so far.”

“I’ve enjoyed game day visits to Hendrix and UT-Martin already this year.”

Do you have plans for game day trips?
“I’m attending Rhodes this Saturday. I plan to visit Birmingham-Southern, Missouri S&T, Central Missouri, & Robert Morris later this season.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Being from Mississippi, most people are either a fan of MS State or Ole Miss. I was raised an Ole Miss fan.”

How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“We have started the season off well. The team is putting in the work everyday and it has shown in our first few games.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“Overall I am happy with how I’m playing. I trained really hard this offseason, spending the month of June training full time with One on One in Alabama (with the mind set of 1% better every day) and I feel it is showing. I definitely have room to grow and I’m not yet punting to my full potential, but I’ve locked in a couple crucial details, so you can expect a big rest of the season from me.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“I’m really proud of my team. We’ve been struggling with some big injuries, especially on our line. The boys who replaced them are stepping up though. I’m also really happy with my long snapper, Cole Barnett. He put in a ton of work in the offseason and it’s really making my job easier.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“I think we have to get more confidence in each other, trust that your teammate will do his job, so we can do ours, at PAGE we aren’t a one man show, we are a TEAM.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“One thing we have to do to be successful is, as Coach Rathbone says, “beat Page”. Which means we need to play to our potential vs beating ourselves. We have so much talent, but we have been playing down to the other teams’ levels instead of playing to our ability.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“The dream is to play in college and hopefully beyond. My top two colleges would be UTK or Clemson, but honestly, I will go anywhere I can play.”

“So far the season has been going great, we're currently 2-1 so that’s not too bad.”

“I felt like I started off pretty slow but now I’m feeling pretty good about how it’s going.”

“We’ve played pretty good, we just need to improve on some things.”

“We have a depth problem almost everywhere so if we can help some of the younger guys step up it would help a lot.”

“Playing our game and staying disciplined.”

“I had several from Duke, Vandy, App State, Cincy and many others.”

“I’m committed to Duke.”

“I was at the Duke Clemson game.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“No, I never really had a favorite college growing up.”

How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“So far everything has been going great! I believe this team will shock a lot of people.”

Have you been pleased with how you have played this season?
“For the most part, yes. Are there a few plays that I wish I could redo, absolutely. But I'm leading my team in tackles and forced fumbles with a receiving touchdown, so I can't complain too much.”

How do you feel your team has played?
“After 2 games we're 2-0 so I'd say that we're playing pretty good. After being down 2 touchdowns at halftime we came back and won our first game. This says a lot about how special the team we have is this year because it's the first time in my 4 years that we have come back from being down and won the game.”

What do you feel your team can improve on?
“There are always things we can improve on, but if I had to choose it would be just getting the basics right. We have a very good team, but they're young and are still learning. Also, special teams is an area that we can improve in.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“The key to us being successful going forward is to just keep fighting and believing in what we're doing. That's been a problem on some of our past teams, but not this one. That's a big thanks to our Head Coach Rodger McDonald for making us work harder than ever this off season.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Since I was a kid I've dreamed of playing sports in college and as my first love I would have to choose football.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I don't know all of them, but some schools have come and visited me at school. Bethel and Austin Peay came and I got to meet and talk a little bit to the recruiters for my area. Also, my coach has received calls from Memphis, but I haven't gotten to meet any of the coaching staff.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“To be completely honest I really don't know. My coach handles most of my recruiting for me.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“Last year I went down to Mercer in Georgia for an unofficial game day visit and that's the only one I have been on.”

Do you have plans for game day trips?
“I plan on going up to Austin Peay this year for a visit, but for right now that's the only one.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Growing up my dad always loved Notre Dame, so naturally that became my favorite team and I've loved supporting the Irish since.”

How has everything with the football season been going so far?
“Everything has been going great with football. We are 3-0 coming into this season and I think we can go all the way.”

“I feel like I am playing up to the level I should be currently, but I can always do better.”

“I love my team and I feel like we are the best in the state, they are playing like we should.”

“I just feel like our team can improve on the small stuff. Playing your zones and making tackles you know the things we can improve on.”

What are the keys for your team being successful going forward?
“I think if our offense starts off a little faster and really all round if we win all 3 sides of the game we will dominate everything.”

“I indeed want to play on the next level but I don’t have a set idea yet.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have 2 offers, one from TSU and another from University of the Cumberlands.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“I’d say TSU and Lindsey Wilson are neck and neck.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I’ve been around to a few yes but not saying any names yet.”

Do you have plans for game day trips?
“Yes I’ll be at some TSU games and I’m going to that Lindsey Wilson vs the Cumberlands game.”

“My favorite college growing up was between Ohio state and Alabama.”
