How did the high school football season go overall?
“This season was disappointing as I feel like we had a lot of potential and just didn’t mesh or have any chemistry.”

“I’ve been in the gym every day, we have 7:30 workouts before school and for our first block and I do individual training sessions for speed and linebacker work.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I am really excited for this season, we are a very senior-heavy team this year and with the new staff we have I think we really have a chance to do something special.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Definitely Lipscomb Academy will be the toughest, they are a nationally ranked team every year and constantly bring in 4 and 5 stars so they are really tough.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“The best player we will face off against this year I would say is Carson Gentle from McCallie who is committed to Tennessee. He is a very talented player.”

What are your plans now with sports and workouts?
“I’m now preparing for my senior year by lifting, and also doing agility work and running routes.”

How did the high school football season go overall?

“I believe our team will do extremely well next year. I think a lot of guys that were juniors last year will thrive and I think we will all have such a good connection through us having played together for two years now.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“We play in the hardest league in Tennessee so there is an argument for any team we play to be the toughest team we have to go against. Every team has many athletes and ball players being able to go on to the next level and compete. So it’s hard to single out a team but I believe next year you can put us up in that conversation for toughest teams someone else will have to play.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Like I said before every team we play has ball players so it is hard to single any person out with how many there are.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I do want to play sports in college. I want to play the game I’m playing now. Football has been my love since I was 3 years old and I have always dreamed of going onto the next level.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Since I am only a sophomore I am not in much contact with many coaches but schools I have been recruited by and offered by are Maryville College and Eastern Kentucky University.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“See above.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have made a couple trips to some colleges. All of them are for camps they hold there but I have been lucky enough to go on some unofficial visits to the schools before the camps. I have gone on unofficial visits to Kentucky, EKU, and MTSU.”

Do you have plans for any trips soon?
“I am still creating my off-season camp list so nothing is for sure yet.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“My favorite college team growing up was Tennessee because of it just being in the home town and it being the home team. Besides them I have never really rooted for teams but rather just had favorite players on many different teams.”
