What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“Lots of time in the gym training and on the field throwing with my QB’s. Spring ball has recently started and it’s nice to finally be in pads again.”

What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“My speed. I’ve been doing speed training this offseason and my top speed has increased since last year. Also, working on route running has been a focus for me this offseason too.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“Contending for a 6A state title definitely. We’ve got a tough schedule and can’t take any weeks off but I feel that we have the roster to be prepared for that.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“Oakland. Their playmakers are great players and it’s always a tough game.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“Craig Tutt out of Oakland. Great player and we’ll have to prepare for that.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“Yes I want to play football in college, preferably for a competitive D1 program.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“Been talking to Dartmouth, Wofford, Yale, Vanderbilt, Colgate, and SEMO recently. I received some D3 offers from Sewanee and Grinnell and have also been speaking with University of Chicago, University of Indianapolis, Rhodes, Centre, UPENN, Kentucky-Wesleyan, Hillsdale, Ouachita Baptist and Carleton.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“No single team stands out yet but Grinnell and Sewanee have extended offers to me and I’ve received camp invites from several other schools like Dartmouth, UPENN, UAB, Rhodes, UINDY, and Vanderbilt.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“Took part in SEMO’s junior day and spring game on April 20th. Had a great time and am looking forward to visiting more colleges this summer.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“No trips right now because of spring ball, but over the summer I’ll be traveling.”

What camps are you planning to do this summer?
“Still figuring out my camp schedule right now. Going to be stopping by UAB, MTSU, Vanderbilt, and Tennessee. I will be adding more schools to that list soon.”

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
“Purdue has always been my favorite college because my parents went there. Went to multiple football games in Ross Ade and a ton of basketball games in Mackey Arena. Love their campus and facilities.”
