What have you been doing as of late with off-season workouts?
“This off season I’ve been hitting the gym really hard trying to spend 3-4 hours a day in the gym. I’ve based a lot of my workouts on getting my legs more explosive doing exercises such as power cleans, front squats, and trap bar deadlifts/squats. So far since last season I’ve gone from 185 lb on bench to 310lb, Power clean 225 lb to 265 lb, Front squat 245 lb to 335 lb.”

What do you feel you have improved on most since last football season?
“I feel like I’ve mostly improved my size and strength the most this offseason. I had ankle surgery back in November after I broke it in the last game of the season. I got my boot off at the end of December and I immediately got back to work in the gym and started stacking on weight and increasing my strength at a rapid rate. I was 180 lb in January but right now I’m sitting at 210 lb in May.”

How do you feel your team will do next football season?
“I’m very excited to start this upcoming season, we have had a lot of great things happening in the Forrest football program this offseason. We have hired a new head coach, Justin Palmer who has brought a fantastic coaching staff with him. I believe with our new offense and defense a lot of people are going to be surprised at what we will accomplish this upcoming season.”

What team do you feel will be the toughest competition on your schedule?
“I believe the toughest team we will play this season will be Marion County.”

Who is the toughest individual player your team will face off against?
“I think the toughest player that we will have to face off against this season will be Sam Pickett. He's been a great player throughout the years who has made a significant impact in the game for his team every time we play Marion County.”

Do you want to play sports in college? If so, which one?
“I’ve always had a dream of playing sports in college, specifically football.”

What colleges have been recruiting you?
“I have received one D1 offer from the University of North Alabama.”

What school is recruiting you the hardest?
“UNA is the only school I’ve been in contact with so far, but I’m going to a lot of camps this summer to hopefully gain some more exposure.”

Have you made any college trips yet?
“I have not made any college visits as of now but this summer I have a bunch planned.”

Do you have plans for more trips soon?
“I will be going to a lot of camps and visiting a few of them while I’m down there this summer. The list of camps that I will be attending will be in the next question.”

What camps are you planning to do this summer?
"I will be attending the following camps this summer: Alabama- May 30th, Ole Miss- May 31st, Mississippi State- June 1st, Auburn- June 2nd, Austin Peay- June 9th, MTSU- June 12th, UNA- June 14th, Vanderbilt- June 23rd"

Did you have a favorite college growing up?
"Growing up I always loved the Tennessee Volunteers."
